The Rene Hughes Memorial event from the Hibbing Raceway. Where the Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series joined forces with the Northern Renegades Non-Wing Sprint Car series and All the regular WISSOTA classes. All in a means of paying remembrance to Rene Hughes. Rene lost his battle with cancer last spring. He was a huge part of the areas racing community and this is our tribute to him and his family.
